Upon first wear, your UGGs should feel quite firm and tight. Your toes should be close to the tip of the boot without curling. Make sure that they do not slip at the heel when you walk. It is common that people will say their UGGs feel 'too small' upon initial try-on, thinking that they should be purchased bigger so that there is room to move around. Don't be fooled! The wool compresses with weight and will begin to mold to the shape of your feet when you wear them in. The suede exterior will also give a little the more you wear them, as a result of the natural sheepskin properties. They should stretch around half a size. This is part of the beauty of UGG boots and why they are so comfortable! They have the ability to mold around around your feet in all the right places.

Slippers are not really that true to size, due to their open back. This gives our foot a little bit more 'wiggle room'. Without the reinforcement, slippers and slides generally feel slightly bigger than a boot of the same size. We typically advise customers to size down from their regular shoe size when purchasing our sheepskin slippers.

If you're not sure of your usual shoe size (or just want to make sure you are 100% on your size choice), you can measure your foot from the top of your longest toe to the back of your heel. After you've measured, refer back to our size chart to see which size corresponds best with your foot length. Alternatively, download our At-Home Size Guide to see for yourself!

Our sizing is unisex, please refer to our size conversion charts to find your respective US, Euro, and UK shoe sizes. You should purchase your UGGs true to your everyday shoe size. (Please ensure you read the size & fit tab on the product page as this may vary depending on style) Your new sheepskin boots should be a snug fit. With continued use, the wool will adjust to the shape of your feet, creating a perfect fitting UGG boot.

Slides: Due to the style of our open-toe Designer Sandals, we recommend choosing your ordinary AU/US/EU size, and this will automatically convert to a size down in our UGG sizing. If you prefer an extra snug fit, you could choose to size down in your ordinary AU/US/EU size, which will then convert to two sizes smaller in our UGG sizing.

Measure your feet in the afternoon, when feet tend to be their largest. Some people have one foot slightly larger than the other. Measure both feet and choose the size that fits the larger of the two.

Genuine UGG boots are meant to be worn without socks. Wool will naturally wick away moisture and allows air circulation to keep your feet dry. If you prefer to wear socks, select cotton socks or another natural fibre. You can read more about this here.

It is extremely important to get the right fit when you are buying your new pair of UGG boots, There are some considerations to make, such as how much they will stretch after you have worn them for a while and how small is too small. You do not want an overly tight fit, however, something that may feel perfect but loose, to begin with may become sloppy and too large over time. That begs the question what is the right fit when it comes to UGG boots?

Generally, when you are buying Original UGG boots they do fit true to size. If you check our sizing chart then you are sure to get the right fit. If unsure you can also measure against an old pair of sneakers. When you first buy them you want them to be snug. This is because the boot does change a little over time. Not only will the boot stretch slightly, as with any natural shoe, but the inner changes as well. Over time the sheepskin within your UGGs will flatten with wear.

If you are unsure of sizes, your foot is often between sizes, or you commonly wear half sizes, then it is recommended to go with something a little smaller rather than bigger. Once the UGGs are shaped perfectly to your feet then you won't want to take them off!

Please note, due to unique UGG packaging the age guide displayed on the Jesse Bow II Infant Boots may not match your order. Please do be assured that you have ordered the correct size and this is not a mistake.

UGG might not be the first name you think of for a performance winter boot, but their Adirondack lineup could change your mind. With premium materials, impressive warmth, and a very comfortable fit, the Adirondack III quickly earned its place as our daily boot for a snowy and cold winter in central Oregon. Although rated to keep feet warm in conditions well below freezing, it still maintains the light weight and cozy feel we want in a casual winter boot. To see how the UGG Adirondack III stacks up to the competition, see our article on the best women's winter boots.

The UGG Adirondack III currently comes in three sleek colorways and stands apart from most boots with its ability to be worn in two different styles. When the cuff is fully extended, it looks like a traditional leather boot, with a sleek design, great warmth and water protection, and a build that layers well with a pair of snow pants or gaiters. Roll the fluffy wool cuff down, and you get a more playful, casual boot that is right at home when layered overtop of tighter pants like jeans or leggings. Overall, the thick rubber soul, durable rands, and leather upper of the Adirondack give it more of a rugged than sleek and stylish appearance, but the wool cuff is an ingenious design that lends a great amount of versatility to the boot.

The Adirondack III is one of the most comfortable and versatile women's winter boots we've had the pleasure of testing. Rated to -32 degrees Celsius / -25 Fahrenheit, it'll keep you warm even when the coldest of weather hits. With the ability to roll the fur collar up or down, it stands out as one of the more functional styles in our review. We took the Adirondack III out on snowy morning dog walks and high-alpine hikes to test its traction and stability. While the shaft isn't super stiff, it still holds up on decently technical terrain. Waterproof and ready for snow-covered trails, this fantastic boot will keep you happy.

The Adirondack is made of relatively thick and porous leather and suede, offering good insulation along the shaft and surprising breathability. The outsole is thick enough to insulate the feet from icy temperatures but is thinner than some of the warmest boots in this review. When tested at freezing (0 degrees Celius and 32 degrees Fahrenheit), this boot offered sufficient warmth while walking the dog and shoveling the snow off our deck.

The comfort of this winter boot is truly top-notch. The wool liner is cozy and breathable, providing one of our favorite out-of-box fits. It's very true-to-size, unlike some of the bulkier options in our review. The beauty of the Adirondack is the dual-wear option that lets you expose the fur on the collar or extend the collar to maintain more coverage and a sleeker design.

This version of the Adirondack fits like a glove; not too wide and not too narrow, it feels snug, relaxed, and pliable. Interestingly enough, both thinner and thicker socks fit fine in this boot, but our thickest wool socks did begin to feel a bit tight by the end of the day. If you're on the fence or like to wear thicker socks, you can size up half a size to be safe.

The soft and supple suede of the upper is noticeably less stiff than some of the thicker boots we tested, making it more comfortable but less stable on uneven terrain. Some of our testers experienced slight ankle roll on uneven or rocky surfaces, even with the laces done up tightly. This boot isn't the best option if you need an ultra-supportive boot around the ankle. Our lineup has other options with a more rigid shaft and stiffer walls that offer more support. Overall, however, this is one of the most comfortable winter boots we've had the pleasure of testing, assuming your body can handle the less stable construction.

Unfortunately, the Adirondack III did not score as high in this category. A few things factor into the durability assessment with each of our test boots. We purposefully did not treat any of the products in the lineup because, frankly, most people do not weatherproof their footwear (even if they should). To give the boots an honest performance review, we attempt to put each product through the wringer right out of the box to get an idea of its' capabilities under the most extreme conditions.

From our testing process, we found the suede on this boot can scuff a bit when knocked around on pavement, sticks, or stones. The rubber outsole offers good coverage around the foot, and the upper suede material is on the thinner side. While these features didn't deteriorate during our testing period, they may likely experience more wear and tear than boots with rubber soles that cover the entirety of the exterior of the midsole. The rubber compound does seem rather tough, which would suggest it has a longer lifetime than softer, stickier compounds.

While we do worry about the leather and suede getting gummed up, it's easy to rinse these boots off with water once you've walked through some muck. It's also important to note that some online reviews claim that this boot has fallen apart after just a few months of use. That said, our testers have not run into the same issues even after several years with this boot. Regardless, we recommend using waterproofing solutions and suede conditioning for a better guarantee of longevity.

The Adirondack III is a highly impressive and versatile boot. We love its fashionable yet functional design and fantastic performance that'll have you walking your way through winter without worry. It's a technical but stylish boot that can go from winter trails and back to the office without blinking an eye. While this is certainly an expensive boot, the quality and performance live up to the price. If you're ready to invest, it will bring you warmth and happiness throughout the burly winter months and chilly shoulder seasons. While the price tag may be high, we appreciate the craftsmanship and overall design of the Adirondack III. Its surprising performance during weatherproofing and traction tests set this boot apart from the less expensive options. With a soft and smooth suede upper and two styles for wear that are both attractive and functional, we'd say it's worth the price for a place in your footwear lineup. 041b061a72
